I just arrived in Manchester for a conference. I went straight to China Town, looking for authentic cuisine...and I sure did find it. Firstly, all staff were attentive, patient and there to look after you. My waiter was great! He made sure I ordered what I was looking for. Food here is authentic, tasty and prepared right! Portion sizes are healthy and you will need a take away container. Roasted meats are cooked to perfection... not dry at all with great flavours. The little robot server is cool too I highly recommend. Thank you Aplus. You are called APlus for a reason haha
Large portion! Great food! We ordered pot dishes and the taste is really great. I love the tofu pot with pork belly. We can’t finish the meal and need to take away the food. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again.
Being a duck lover, this is my spot for roast duck UK style. Crisp skin, fatty layers and tender meat only from Irish duck done the Hong Kong bbq way. Since the closure of Yang Seng before Covid, this restaurant is my go to for 3 years straight for both dine in and take away. There are many Chinese restaurants around the area and I have tried most of them. This place offers table cloth and may be slightly more expensive but the prompt service and quality food more then makes it up.
Really enjoyed this place, the food tasted super authentic and not greasy at all. The beef chow fun had great wok hei, the chicken feet and tripe were full of flavor, and I loved the roast meat platter, especially the crispy pork. Tried Chaozhou-style white dumplings for the first time too, they were soft and chewy with a nice texture. The beef brisket pot was super comforting, and I ended the meal with a light and refreshing mango pomelo sago. Friendly service, relaxed vibe — I’d definitely come back again.
Just had an amazing meal at this newly renovated restaurant! The roast duck and char siu rice (£16) was incredibly generous - excellent quality and great value. The sticky rice chicken was packed with ingredients and full of flavor. What really impressed me were the crab and prawn soup dumplings - freshly made, not pre-prepared, with amazing broth inside. The fried squid cakes were crispy and loaded with squid pieces. Finished with their mango pomelo sago which was refreshing with lots of fresh fruit pieces. Authentic Cantonese cuisine with great quality ingredients. Highly recommended!
